Privacy Explanation - No Bullshit Version

We know privacy policies can be long and boring, so let’s skip the legal jargon and get straight to the point. Summarum is designed with your privacy in mind. Here’s the deal:

Zero trackers, zero analytics: Summarum collects absolutely no data about you or your usage of the app. We don’t use any analytics frameworks or tracking code whatsoever.
On your device, always: All your data stays on your device — your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. The only exception is if you choose to turn on iCloud sync, which just stores your data in your personal iCloud (so you can sync between your own devices). Even then, we never see any of it.
No servers, no bank connections: Summarum never sends your information to any server, period. The app doesn’t connect to any bank APIs or external services to fetch data. In fact, Summarum works without an internet connection at all (aside from optional iCloud sync).
No account needed: We don’t make you create an account or hand over your email, phone number, or any personal details. You can use Summarum straight out of the box with nothing tying it back to you.
Nothing to share or sell: We can’t access, use, or sell any of your data — because we don’t collect any in the first place. There’s literally nothing of yours on our end. (And even if there were, we wouldn’t dream of it.)
On-device processing only: If you share a screenshot or image with Summarum (for example, to extract info), that image is processed entirely on your device. It never leaves your iPhone, iPad, or Mac for cloud processing. Your images and data stay with you, always.
Privacy by design: Summarum respects your privacy by design. We intentionally built it so that we know nothing about you. We don’t need to, and that’s the whole point — your business stays your business.

Summarum ("the App") is provided by Till Gartner ("we", "us", or "our"). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Data

Summarum does not require account registration and does not collect personal identifying information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

Financial Information

The App allows you to manually enter financial data (such as balances or values) for personal tracking purposes.

All financial data is entered voluntarily by the user.
We do not access, review, or monetize this data.

2. Data Storage and Processing

Local Storage

By default, data is stored locally on your device using iOS system storage.

iCloud Sync

If iCloud is enabled on your device, Summarum may use Apple iCloud to synchronize your app data across your own devices.

iCloud sync is optional and controlled by your Apple ID and device settings.
Data synced via iCloud is stored in your personal iCloud account.
We do not have access to your iCloud data.
Data is encrypted and managed by Apple according to Apple's iCloud security policies.
We do not operate our own servers and do not store copies of your data outside of Apple's iCloud infrastructure.

3. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with third parties.

No advertising networks
No analytics providers
No financial institutions
No tracking or profiling services

4. Data Security

Your data is protected using the security features provided by iOS and iCloud, including system-level encryption and access controls managed by Apple.

5. User Control

You remain in full control of your data:

You can enable or disable iCloud sync at any time via iOS settings.
You may delete the App to remove locally stored data.
You may manage or delete synced data through your iCloud account.

6. Children's Privacy

Summarum is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
